During a meeting with Martiros Nalbandyan, Acting Chairman of the Water Committee, and David Mkrtchyan, Deputy Chairman, company representatives noted that intensive efforts will be carried out over the coming months to assess the current situation.

Based on the collected data, preliminary solutions will be proposed to modernize and expand the capacity of the wastewater treatment plants operating in the Martuni, Gavar, and Vardenis communities. For non-sewered settlements, recommendations will cover connecting to the existing sewerage network or implementing a decentralized wastewater treatment system.

As part of the study, a spatial analysis using GIS mapping will also be developed to enhance the visibility of the solutions covering the communities.
