Today, a discussion was held in a hybrid format at the Water Committee with the expert team providing technical assistance for the water supply sub-project of the "Resilient Syunik Team Europe Initiative" project.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Water Committee, and companies comprising the technical assistance consulting consortium.

During the meeting, the consultants presented the work carried out across seven communities in the Syunik Region, the agreements reached with local municipal authorities, as well as ongoing and planned activities. Participants also discussed additional matters aimed at enhancing project efficiency.

As a result of the technical assistance provided under the EIB-financed project, plans are in place to assess options for improving water supply in approximately 55 pre-selected indicative settlements in Syunik Region and to develop feasible water supply designs complete with technical and financial evaluations.
