Today, the Water Committee hosted representatives of non-governmental organizations operating in the water sector, as well as active members of public and environmental civil initiatives.

The purpose of the meeting and discussion was to present the ongoing work in the sector, raise awareness levels, and discuss potential frameworks for cooperation.

During the meeting, participants were introduced to the role, functions, and priorities of the Water Committee, as well as the completed, ongoing, and planned major projects implemented with the participation and support of the Committee.

Subsequently, current issues and challenges in the sector were addressed. The attendees raised their concerns regarding sector-specific problems. At the same time, proposals and observations were presented aimed at increasing the efficiency of the sector's management.

Emphasizing the role of public awareness, analytical work, and civil society participation, the Water Committee presented stakeholders with possible directions for open and continuous cooperation, in particular:

• Raising public awareness and disseminating information,
• Monitoring and oversight of sectoral processes,
• Implementation of educational and awareness programs,
• Promotion of community development and participatory programs, etc.
