Aramazd Ghalamkaryan, Chairman of the Water Committee, and Karen Daghbashyan, Deputy Chairman, paid a working visit to Aragatsotn Province.

The leadership first visited the office of the "Aragatsotn" Water User Association (WUA), where they held a working consultation with Director Gor Arshakyan and key staff to evaluate the efficiency of water supply management during the irrigation season, review completed works, and discuss ongoing challenges.

Subsequently, Mr. Ghalamkaryan and Mr. Daghbashyan conducted an on-site inspection of the first- and second-stage pumping stations in the village of Agarakavan, holding discussions with the local administrative leader and a representative of the water users. The Chairman of the Water Committee emphasized the importance of agricultural land consolidation as a key prerequisite for justifying state capital investments.

The visit also included a stop at the Aparan Reservoir, where officials received updates on current water levels and forecasts for irrigation water intake.

The tour concluded in the village of Nor Yerznka, where the delegation observed the management of irrigation systems for intensive orchards, including raspberry, cherry, and other fruit crops.
