Overhaul works on the "Talin-1" pumping station of the Talin Canal in Aragatsotn Province have been completed.

The pumping station building has undergone a complete capital overhaul, with one small and four high-capacity pumping units being replaced and modern, energy-efficient equipment installed.

The electrical control and regulation panels of the pumping station were also fully replaced, resulting in enhanced control conditions, operational reliability, and energy efficiency.

The discharge pipeline was overhauled as well. Proper surface treatment and a complete renewal of the protective paint coating were carried out on the pipeline to ensure corrosion protection and reliable future operation. As a result, the technical condition of the pumping station has been improved, and its operational reliability and efficiency have been increased.

Moving forward, the new, modern, and energy-efficient pumping units will ensure stable and reliable irrigation water supply to a total of 1,600 hectares of agricultural land across the settlements of Argina and Aragatsavan. The serviced agricultural lands are primarily cultivated with orchards and truck crops.

The implementation of this project is of key importance for improving the irrigation system of the Talin region, promoting the efficient use of agricultural land, and ensuring the sustainability of agricultural production.
