Karen Daghbashyan, Deputy Chairman of the Water Committee, paid a working visit to Lori Province to inspect the progress of preventive flood control measures.

Accompanied by Arsen Gharibyan, Deputy Governor of Lori Province, Sasun Miroyan, General Director of "Melioratsia" CJSC, and Sargis Davtyan, Director of "Lori" WUA, the Deputy Chairman of the Water Committee toured sections of the Tandzut, Debed, Dzoraget, and Pambak rivers where "Melioratsia" CJSC is executing riverbed clearing and excavated material removal in key locations.

Clearing operations for river sections in Lori Province requiring urgent attention commenced in early March, preceded by preparatory stages including organizational work, manual clearing, and equipment deployment.

The works remain ongoing.
