Martiros Nalbandyan, Deputy Chairman of the Water Committee, participated in the 12th World General Assembly organized within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the International Network of Basin Organizations (INBO), held from October 7 to 10 in Bordeaux, France.

During four panel discussions, topics regarding international and transboundary river basin management, qualitative and quantitative preservation of water resources, as well as climate change adaptation were presented and discussed.

Within the scope of the summit, M. Nalbandyan, alongside representatives from Egypt, Brazil, France, Spain, and Morocco, participated in a panel discussion titled "Climate Change Adaptation Tools and Actions," delivering a report on Armenia's experience in that direction within the water system management sector.

Martiros Nalbandyan, together with Tigran Gabrielyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, also participated in a bilateral meeting of the Armenian delegation with Eric Tardieu, Secretary General of the International Network of Basin Organizations (INBO). The sides discussed issues related to overall cooperation, achievements under the "EU for Environment: Water Resources and Environmental Data" project, as well as prospects for future collaboration.
