A public discussion took place at the Water Committee, with the participation of representatives from the Committee and partner institutions.

The discussion focused on the following environmental and social documents developed—among other core program documents—under the "Water and Irrigation Services Improvement" (WISE) project, which was prepared in cooperation with the Water Committee, the World Bank, and relevant partner agencies:

• Environmental and Social Commitment Plan and Stakeholder Engagement Plan
• Environmental and Social Management Framework and Resettlement Framework
• Labor Management Procedures

Martiros Nalbandyan, Acting Chairman of the Water Committee, opened the discussion and welcomed the attendees. He specifically noted that the project aims to enhance institutional frameworks in the water sector, modernize irrigation systems, and improve water supply and sanitation services in rural communities.

Kristine Sahakyan, Environmental Consultant at the Water Committee, and Marine Vardanyan, Social Specialist, presented the draft documents, answered questions raised during the session, and addressed the feedback provided.
